Terratico™ uses crushed plastic waste instead of gravel in concrete or crushed marble in terrazzo. Thanks to the patented technology, the pieces of plastic are not pushed to the surface but are evenly distributed throughout the product, giving it special properties not found in standard concrete. Terratico™ is up to 30% lighter in comparison to classic concrete or terrazzo. In addition, it does not absorb liquids and better resists impacts of tectonic shocks. This is also why Terratico™ was nominated for the prestigious Innovative Product awards during the 2023 World of Concrete exhibition in the USA.
